I’ve lived here before. Living in a tourist town, your attitude changes. The game each day is to avoid the congestion caused by those who give the town its raison d’etre. The beauty of Niagara Falls becomes a nuisance, not a pleasure.
The Retirement Home that my mother now lives in is on the road that runs along the top of the Niagara River Gorge, so we decided to embrace tourism rather than fight it. We packed a picnic lunch and found one of the many picnic areas along the Niagara River.
Lewiston, New York in the background.
She’ll never stop raising me….
The Floral Clock… though not overly colorful this time of year.
From the City of Niagara Falls Canada, looking at the City of Niagara Falls, USA.
Toronto tourists…
It was an enjoyable day playing tourist!
