Wherever the Road Leads

“Junior” and the Presidential Debate

When You Don’t Have Substance: Deflect

When I married my ex-wife, her two children were aged seven and ten. ‘Senior’ was easy-going; almost seemed slow. His personality didn’t blossom until he entered high school, leaving the stronger personality of his younger brother, ‘Junior’, behind.

‘Junior’ was the most aggravating little sh*t I have ever met. However, the child was brilliant, as well as personable, good looking and a thorough charmer. He thought nothing of lying through his teeth about anything and cheating at the church Christmas Party in order to get the prize that he wanted. He could have grown up to be a brilliant trial lawyer successfully arguing that black was white, had someone ridden him roughshod to get him college-educated and his true potential fulfilled.

The perfect Democrat.

Junior manipulated his mother skillfully and without her realizing it.

Momma: “Junior, did you clean up your room as I asked?”

Junior: “You didn’t take me to the movies like you promised.”

Momma: “Well, Junior, the reason I didn’t take you to the movies was…”

The discussion about Junior’s untidy room was over. Momma had lost. The more she explained the movie issue, the more Junior challenged her reasoning and the further they got from Junior’s room.

It took me a while to cotton on, Junior used to manipulate me in the same way. In time, I learned to say, “Junior, if you’d like to discuss the movies, I’ll be more than happy after your room is cleaned up.” Or, simply, “Junior, did that answer the question?”

The Clinton Campaign and their principal propagandists, the media, are doing exactly the same thing with their feigned horror over Donald Trump’s ‘locker room’ comments. Hillary and the press are shocked that a Presidential Candidate could say such things. Well, firstly, ‘let he who is without sin cast the first stone’. Teddy Kennedy drowned Mary Jo Kopechne – conveniently forgotten. For those who may not remember, from Wikipedia…

“On July 18, 1969, Kopechne attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island, off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The celebration was in honor of the dedicated work of the Boiler Room Girls, and was the fourth such reunion of the Robert F. Kennedy campaign workers. Robert’s brother Ted Kennedy was there, whom Kopechne did not know well. Kopechne reportedly left the party at 11:15 p.m. with Ted, after he — according to his own account — offered to drive her to catch the last ferry back to Edgartown, where she was staying. She did not tell her close friends at the party that she was leaving, and she left her purse and keys behind. Kennedy drove the 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 off a narrow, unlit bridge, which was without guardrails and was not on the route to Edgartown. The Oldsmobile landed in Pocha Pond and overturned in the water; Kennedy extricated himself from the vehicle and survived, but Kopechne did not and died eight days shy of her twenty-ninth birthday.

Kennedy failed to report the incident to the authorities until the car and Kopechne’s body were discovered the next morning. Kopechne’s parents said that they learned of their daughter’s death from Kennedy himself, before he informed authorities of his involvment. However, they learned Kennedy had been the driver from wire press releases some time later.

A private funeral for Kopechne was held on July 22, 1969, at St. Vincent’s Roman Catholic Church in Plymouth, Pennsylvania. It was attended by Kennedy, his wife Joan, his sister-in-law Ethel, and hundreds of onlookers.”

Bill Clinton and his escapades with women are legendary and for me, that is when the Office of the President stopped being a revered, above-reproach position.

Now, enter a man who until the terms of President Obama had no serious political aspirations. A successful entrepreneur and a businessman, he apparently felt no need to be 100% Politically Correct, 100% of the time. He entered the race because these United States of America need a non-career-politician, a non-same-old-same-old President to turn things around. I blogged a year ago, ‘He’s nuts but he’s right!’

Magically and mystically, a tape surfaces from eleven years ago proving Trump to be human.

Hillary the Perfect, with her 33,000 deleted emails, her lying under oath, her destroyed incriminating computers, her Open Borders policy, blaming four dead in Benghazi on an unheard of and unwatched Youtube video, her Pay-for-Play while at the State Department yielding her millions, along with her surrogates at the Huffington Post and the NYT, are all aghast!

Surely the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse will appear at any moment.

I’ve heard that the graffiti in women’s rest rooms is much more vulgar than in men’s rest rooms. Does that justify men’s restroom lewd comments? Of course not. But it does underscore the hypocrisy of all these Democrats and Democrat ‘News’ papers getting the vapors. People who live in glass houses…..

The Democrats and their Media Mouthpieces have learned a lot from Junior.
