We spent Canada Day – July 1st – doing a little exploring, including the Jordan Station area. It’s a cute little community about a half hour away, definitely still in wine country, surrounded by about twenty wineries. And an excellent coffee shop and bakery…. great pastries and fair coffee. That’s one thing I’ll give Tim Horton’s… great coffee. It’s quaint but there’s not a whole lot to draw you back time and time again. (Click on any of the pictures to view full-size.)
Though it appears to be a tiny rural community, Jordan Station is located one mile from the Foodland grocery store in Vineland, and about five miles – ten minutes, two stop signs, one turn – from the St. Catharines Wal-Mart SuperCenter, in with Canadian Tire, Loblaw Super Store, The Brick, Michael’s, Shopper’s, Timmie’s, Mickey D’s, Bouclair, Bulk Barn and Dollarama.
Jordan Station has an existing town house community called The Residences at Jordan Village, that is being added on to.
The Residences at Jordan Village is being added to in the vacant field behind, in a new community of about twenty homes that will be called The Kingsway.
